In Northwest Territories long-term care homes are government-funded and regulated by the Department of Health and Social Services.

Home Care program in Northwest Territories provides seniors with medical help and support with daily living activities. Services may include home support, nursing care, nutrition services, palliative care, rehabilitation, respite care.
